Pneumatic clamping fittings are designed to provide high-performance clamping solutions in industrial applications. With their dual-cylinder design, they generate higher force compared to single-cylinder models and can be effectively used even in confined spaces. They provide a clamping force of 600 N at an air pressure of 0.5 MPa, making them ideal for precision assembly operations.
Fluid Used: Filtered dry air (particles ≤ 5 μm recommended)
Lubrication: Not required
Maximum Weight: 0.34 kg
Product Advantages
Compact Design: Occupies up to 66% less space compared to standard models, optimizing installation area and offering greater flexibility.
High Performance: The dual-cylinder design provides higher clamping force compared to single-cylinder models.
Flexible Mounting Options: Available with three mounting directions: left, right, and front. Custom mounting options are also available upon request.
Speed Control: An optional speed controller allows adjustment of both clamping and release speeds.
Durability: Features sealing elements resistant to chlorine-based cutting fluids.
Performance Data
The clamping force varies depending on the lever length (LH) and air pressure. For example:
Air Pressure: 0.5 MPa
Clamping Lever Length (LH): 50 mm
Clamping Force: 250.44 N
Note: Operating outside the specified range may damage the mechanism. Please refer to the performance diagram and tables for proper usage.
Installation and Usage Instructions
Clamping Point: The clamping lever must be mounted coaxially aligned with the piston rod. The allowable angular misalignment is ±3°.
Eccentric Loads: When using eccentric-shaped levers, ensure that the eccentricity limits are not exceeded. Otherwise, the mechanism may be damaged.
Air Port Connections: Options include manifold tubing or G-port connection. Use of O-rings is mandatory for G-port connections.
Optional Features
Speed Controller: Allows precise adjustment of clamping and release speeds.
One-Touch Fittings: One-touch fittings compatible with G-port connections are available.
Application Areas
Pneumatic (air-operated) clamping fittings are widely used in the following industries:
Automotive industry
Machine manufacturing
Metalworking
Plastic injection molding
Safety and Maintenance
The product should be used within the specified air pressure and temperature ranges.
Using filtered dry air extends the product’s service life.
Periodically check the tightness of all connections.
