Application and Installation Notes

The pump should be used with hydraulic cylinders that have perfect sealing .
Since oil is compressible, only 60–70% of the pump volume should be used efficiently.
Air in the system increases compressibility, so it must be completely vented . It is recommended to install an air bleed screw at the highest point .
Oil filling should be done when the piston is in its starting position .
Piping and connections should be arranged to prevent air pockets from forming.
Since the system is closed and does not include a pressure relief valve , pressure should be continuously monitored using a pressure gauge .
The torque applied to the pump screw directly affects the pressure; therefore, a torque-limiting wrench is recommended for calibration purposes .
